Can I receive therapy via telehealth?
Most conditions can be treated in part through telehealth. Discuss your specific condition with Beth to determine if telehealth is possible for you.
What if I am a new patient?
Please contact Beth directly to receive information about paperwork that must be completed before your first visit.
How are the services provided?
Most session are provided using video conference on a secure web site Doxi.me. A link will be emailed to you the morning of your session or you may use this link below to join me. You will need to give the program permission to use your microphone and web cam (just click “agree” when prompted). Type you name in and you will be placed in the waiting room. Please see this video for specifics.
What if I do not have a computer or web cam?
During the COVID 19 pandemic it is possible to connect on video call via FaceTime (on an Apple device) or WhatsApp (on an android device). Video is best for telehealth. If none of those devices are available, it is possible to use the phone only.
Will insurance pay for PT telehealth?
Insurance coverage is changing rapidly. Wellmark, BCBS of IL, and Medicare have pledged to pay for PT telehealth visits. It is also possible that your Medicare replacement (United) will pay for these services. However, this is changing daily and I am watching closely.
What is the fee if insurance does not pay?
More about the self pay rate is found on the “new patients” page. The initial evaluation is $128 and subsequent visits are $96.
